37 hours per week, permanent, All Year Round or term time only plus 2 weeks (based in a small cluster of schools with a requirement to travel between Trust schools).
VT Pay Scale 11, SP34-SP37 (£30,153 - £32,486) per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience) plus Health Cash Plan and Benefit package (see website for full details of our employee benefit package)
A vacancy has arisen for a Trust Data Manager to work across the Trust with a committed team of professionals to provide data driven support across the whole Academy network. This is a new post and is instrumental to the Trust’s strategy development, analysis and assessment.
Venturers Trust is a new Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 724 staff.

The role of Data Manager offers the chance to drive the management information performance of the Trust, which serve some of the most varied communities in Bristol. We are looking to appoint an effective and efficient Data Manager to work alongside the senior team, CEO, COO, Principals and Directors of the Executive Trust team, to be proactive in supporting the schools. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth analysis, interpretation and correlation of the Trusts data through IT and educational software systems, management collation and interpretation of data. It is essential that the candidate demonstrate an ability to work with a range of people at all levels including young people as well as being a committed team player.
You will be responsible for creating, using and maintaining databases to support the reporting and presentation of all research metrics that capture performance across the Trust. This would facilitate queries, reports and data retrieval to be performed in an efficient manner, and to explore opportunities to streamline data capture across teams within the Trust as well as capturing raw data from multiple data sources across the organisations. Maintenance of data quality and integration of content from multiple data sources will be a key function of this post. The post holder will be able to analyse complex trends involving multiple streams of data and forecast implications and make judgments, both in short and long term.
